Stephen Starr Events Executive Chef, Gerald Drummond Presents Interactive Chef Series at The Philadelphia Museum of Art
Do you love preparing artfully inspired food? Are you planning a visit or more to the world-renowned Philadelphia Museum of Art over these warm weather months? You can now enjoy the best of both worlds joining Chef Gerald Drummond, Executive Chef of Stephen Starr Events, as he presents Interactive Chef Demonstrations at the Museum’s newly renovated, ground floor market- style eatery four select Wednesday evenings May through August.
Former Executive Chef of Morimoto under the Iron Chef himself, Chef Gerald Drummond, will lead the designed ninety-minute small class size Food Demonstrations to ten to fifteen participants accompanied along with other Starr Restaurant Chef Assistants providing personalized attention throughout the hands on training sessions. What will your choice be among the offerings? On the other hand will you choose them all?
Beginning on May 8th kicking off the first of the series with The Art of Sushi participants will learn the basics of sushi making and preparing both Maki Rolls and Nigiri.
On June 12th around the time most of us are continually craving our summer fix in the midst of Crab Season, how about learning each component involved in creating the famous Granite Hill Crab Cake?
On July 10th Official Grilling Season (and a great time readying up on your Team Family Tailgate Techniques) Chef Drummond will focus on Grilling and Smoking Techniques in preparing the ultimate perfect Barbecue Chicken, Baby Back Ribs, and Seasonal Vegetables.
On August 14th learn to create an entertaining menu of Traditional Spanish Tapas preparing from among the favorite flavors most enjoyed over conversation in Spanish Cuisine.
The Stephen Starr Events: Chef Demonstration Series Classes are held from 6- 7:15 pm, priced at $32 each, including admission to the museum. Each participant will of course, enjoy a flavorful food tasting of the prepared food creation along with receiving a special takeaway gift.
